About Me
I build Risk Intelligence Systems.
Previously: Founding technical lead at DARPA-funded Inca Digital - built financial-intelligence systems now used by DoD, Federal Reserve, PayPal.
There, I designed and scaled large-scale data and machine-learning systems used by government agencies and major financial institutions. I led engineering teams, built production infrastructure, worked with regulators, and helped bring complex intelligence products from prototype to enterprise deployment.
Other things I’ve done:
- Led development of ML-based risk detection systems recognized by the U.S. CFTC (Innovator of the Year)
- Guest lectures at Stanford, Columbia, etc.
- Published machine learning research papers on text-based geolocation tools
- Built real-time environmental risk detection systems (wildfires detected faster than satellite feeds)
- Helped the Red Cross with LA fires recovery
- ML-based artwork at Ars Electronica
Writing
This site is a collection of essays exploring open source intelligence, the politics of supply chains, and poetry.
The essays here examine how information flows through systems, the geopolitical forces that shape global trade, and the patterns that emerge when technology intersects with human systems.
